Privacy policy
Effective 16 September 2026
Not yet final. Company registration is in progress. The registered name, address and contact details on this page are placeholders and will be completed before the service accepts payment.
This policy explains what Nyansapo Teachers collects about you, why, who else sees it, and how to have it removed. The data controller is PENDING REGISTRATION of Ashanti Region, Ghana.
1.What we collect
Three kinds of information, and nothing else:
- Your account. Your email address, and a password stored only as a cryptographic hash. We never hold your password itself.
- Your school profile. Your name as you want it to appear on a lesson plan, your school, your region, your usual class size, periods per week, lesson length, and the teaching resources you have.
- Your lesson notes. The subject, year and week you choose, and the documents generated from them.
We do not collect your phone number, your Ghana Card, your payroll number, or anything about your learners.
2.Why we collect it
Your account identifies you and keeps your documents yours. Your school profile is what makes a generated plan fit your actual class rather than an imagined one — it is written into the documents and used to prepare them. Your lesson notes are stored so you can download them again, which is a core part of what you pay for.
We do not use your information for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the processors named below.
3.Who processes it, and where
Running the Service requires three other companies. Each receives only what its job needs.
- Supabase — hosts the database, your account and your stored documents, in the European Union.
- Anthropic — generates the documents. Your school profile and chosen curriculum entry are sent outside Ghana to produce each set of documents. Your email address and password are never sent.
- Paystack — processes payment and receives your email address to identify the transaction. Card and mobile money details are entered with Paystack directly; we never see or store them.
4.How long we keep it
Your account, profile and documents are kept for as long as your account exists, because being able to download a note from earlier in the year is the point of keeping it.
Records of payments and credits are kept for seven years, as accounting records ordinarily must be.
Deleting your account removes your profile and your documents. Payment records are retained as above, with your email address replaced where it is no longer needed to identify the transaction.
5.Your rights
You may ask us to:
- show you what we hold about you;
- correct anything inaccurate;
- delete your account and its contents;
- send you your documents in a portable form.
Write to PENDING. We will respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to Ghana’s Data Protection Commission.
6.Security
Access to your data is enforced at the database level: every table carries a rule permitting a signed-in teacher to read only their own rows. Generated documents are stored privately and reached through links that expire after one minute. Traffic is encrypted in transit.
No system is perfect. If a breach affects your personal data we will tell you and the Data Protection Commission as required.
7.Cookies
We set cookies for two purposes only: keeping you signed in, and remembering whether you prefer the light or dark theme. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics.
8.Children
The Service is for teachers. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
9.Changes
The effective date at the top of this page shows when this policy last changed. Material changes will be notified before they take effect.
10.Contact
